Lost Or Stolen
Tags & Decals If your tag and/or decal has been lost or stolen, you must contact your local law enforcement agency to report the loss or theft prior to making application for a replacement. The registered owner of the vehicle may apply for a replacement tag and/or decal. Click here to retrieve the Application For Replacement Of License Plate/Decals. (Note: This form is in pdf format, which must be viewed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free through the Adobe web site.) Walk-in customers who plan to complete this application in our office should bring their vehicle registration or the number of the lost or stolen tag. The cost to replace a lost tag is 43.15 and to replace a lost decal is $40.35. There is no cost to replace a stolen tag and decal.
